I saw two women-men, one angle (with a halo ring), two lion boys, one cardboard-lizard-man, one foil-made-astronaut and more.

It's fun to know the great variety in people.

Today, I realized that tomorrow is Halloween.

I thought October is a long month, but it ends tomorrow.

The Time for Deep Thinking

Many thoughts spring up in my head while I'm brushing my teeth.
Even the brushing time can be useful.

Doesn't Last Long

When a person is suffering, he may say bad things to you.
But, once he fully accepts his situation, it will stop.

So, don't worry.
Your pain doesn't last long.

The Study About a Person

The people around me are studying about "me."
And I am also studying about the people around me.

Influence

You cannot persuade the people who are too close to you, but you can influence them.

One or two years of influence are not enough.
Influence them for ten to twenty years!

Preliminary Timetable

I found that the final exams' preliminary timetable was posted on the web day before yesterday.

It somehow motivated me to study.

Need More Study

There are so many things that I don't know.
I need more study.

The Process

I seemed to have hit a wall.
My English has not improved.

We had rain for all day today.
But, strong wind is blowing now, and the moon can be seen over the thin cloud.

Not Too Long Blackout

Today, around 5 pm, the power went off.
(It's said that the whole towns on the southern tip of the Vancouver Island experienced it.)

I was at my pre host mother's house and we (total 7 people) were preparing thanksgiving dinner.

However, since most of the cooking was already done, we could eat them and celebrate thanksgiving.

It was good that the power came back around 6:30 pm.

Appreciation

It is always better to say "thank you" as soon as possible.

After Some Rest

When I'm exhausted, I can't think of anything.
But, I know that after some rest, I can think clearly again.

Thus

Whining about yesterday doesn't contribute so much.
Thus, I'll go forward.

Another

I handed the lab report I was writing yesterday in my lab section's slot. And now, I am writing another lab report.

I'm writing this report with the soft called "OpenOffice," and using "Math equation object." It's the first time using this function.

Using "Math equation object" is a bit of fun.

I cannot stop correcting small things, and it slows down my writing speed greatly...

(ex. my handwriting diagram, English sentences, and more)

So, I stood, walked, and stretched in my room.

Complete Autonomy

The strong aspirations are not pushed by somebody, but pushed by your deep self.
Your shallow self cannot stop it.

Each and every person has complete autonomy in one's mind.

This was my thinking just before I vacuum my closet.

"Lie" has certainly one kind of smell.

If you pay close attention to yourself, you will know.

An Astonishingly Easy Way

At the moment I found an astonishingly easy way to solve a problem, I thought that "Oh, I can solve this problem in this easy easy way. I was thinking too much..."

If I don't think too much, then I may find an easy way to solve a problem.

Even One Question

The assignment I have right now seems to be too difficult, so I'll think like "if I can solve even one question, then it's OK for me."
