Today, around 5 pm, the power went off.
(It's said that the whole towns on the southern tip of the Vancouver Island experienced it.)
I was at my pre host mother's house and we (total 7 people) were preparing thanksgiving dinner.
However, since most of the cooking was already done, we could eat them and celebrate thanksgiving.
It was good that the power came back around 6:30 pm.
